Video cannot be imported from the video device
When you import the bilingual-broadcast video
recorded on a DV tape, only the main sound is
imported.
• When you import sound-multiplex video such as
bilingual-broadcast video, the main sound is
imported, but the sub sound is not imported.
Furthermore, when you import the video on the
where dubbed sounds are recorded, the sound
captured during recording is imported and dubbed
sounds are not imported.
When you import video, multiple video clips are
created.
• For any file system other than NTFS (e.g. FAT32), if
video being imported exceeds 4 GB, the video clip is
automatically split into multiple files.
• If video to be imported consists of sounds with
different sampling frequencies (32 kHz and 48 kHz,
or other combination), the video clip is automatically
split at a transition in sampling frequency into
multiple files.
• If video to be imported are configured with different
aspect ratios, the video clip is automatically split into
multiple files at the transition between aspect ratios.
