DV device output mode

2 Input/output setting screen

This screen is provided with operation buttons and
others to control the output device, to set or to execute
the output and recording.

A. Displays the name of the data to be output.

[Edit track information] is displayed when the edited
data on the edit track is to be output.
• You may select an AVI or SEQ file by clicking on

B. Displays the output destination (output device) of the

edit data (clip, etc.).

You can change it by clicking

C. Sets the recording start position to the current

position on the DV tape.

D. Sets the recording start position to the start of the DV

tape.

E. Sets the recording start position to the start of the

blank part of the DV tape.

F. Starts output/recording.
G.The screen aspect ratio can be set.

• When the aspect ratio is different from the original

data, a black area is displayed above and below
and to the right and left of the image.

[4:3 Normal]
Output at the normal 4:3 aspect ratio.
[16:9 Wide]
Output at the wide 16:9 aspect ratio.
[16:9 Cinema]
Output at the 4:3 aspect ratio with a black area
inserted above and below like a movie.
