Blinking red
Power supply
failure
1 Turn off the alarm by pressing the alarm
reset button on the front panel. The power
status LED continues to flash as long as the
power failure remains.
2 Verify that a power supply has failed by
looking at the rear of the unit. The LED on
the failed power supply will be blinking red
or off.
3 Replace the failed power supply. The power
supply replacement kit provides
instructions.

Verify that the master power switch is on.
The switch may have to be cycled off and
on.

Power modules not present or not latched.
Check installation of power modules.
•
Multiple power supply failure. Call your HP
service representative.
•
Power system failure. Call your HP service
representative.
Fan Status
Blinking red
Fan failure
1 Turn off the alarm by pressing the alarm
reset button on the front panel. The fan
status LED continues to flash as long as the
power failure remains.
2 Verify that a fan has failed by looking at the
rear of the unit. The LED on the failed fan
will be blinking red or off.
3 Replace the fan. The fan replacement kit
provides instructions.

If necessary, change power sources and
connections one-at-a-time so that no power
interruption occurs to the unit.
