For each tab at the top of the Administrative Interface, a message area at the bottom of the
Administrative Interface reveals the status of the changes applied to the switch.
(Expand/contract the message area by clicking on the up/down arrows in the upper-left corner
of the message area).
All tabs in the Administrative Interface are consistent with the tabs of the other interfaces with
the exception of the Trunk Information and the Report tab, which are read-only tabs and, has
only the Close button function.
Switch Settings Tab
Use the Switch Settings tab to manage basic switch setup for items such as switch name, switch
domain ID and enabling and disabling the switch and compatibility modes. The Switch Settings tab
is shown in Figure 4-2.
