Butt ons on the BeltStati on do not functi on
A number of butt ons on the BeltStati on can have alternate functi ons that the user can select.
If a butt on on the BeltStati on is not working as expected, re-confi rm all setti ngs and any alternate functi on assignment
in the menu. The butt on may have been reassigned wirelessly from the BaseStati on or by T-Desk. Confi rm that the
functi on is available for use. If the reassignment involves any GPO, confi rm that menu selecti on, the connecti ons, and
the equipment functi onality.
Call Functi on does not work properly
• Check to make sure that the CALL functi on is enabled.
• Confi rm that a TALK butt on is enabled for the channel that you wish to call.
• A Call signal will be received by the BeltStati on only on the channel(s) that are currently being monitored.
Stage Announe (SA) functi on does not work properly
The Stage butt on has two separate functi ons. Opti onally, it controls the shared Stage relay contact on the back of the
BaseStati on.
» When you press the STAGE butt on it reroutes the BeltStati on user’s microphone to the SA output on the back of
the BaseStati on.
» When pressing the STAGE butt on, if there is no audio present at the SA, confi rm that the Stage Announce
functi on is enabled in the BeltStati on.
» If the SA relay does not close, ensure that the Stage Relay is enabled in the BeltStati on. If problems persist,
confi rm the operati on with another BeltStati on.
Tempest Remote Transceiver
Remote Transceiver RX or TX LEDs do not light
While the Transceiver is properly connected to the BaseStati on, turn the BaseStati on Power Switch to the OFF positi on.
Wait for 30 seconds and turn the BaseStati on Power Switch back to the ON positi on. This should initi alize the Remote
Transceiver. The Confi g LED should light momentarily and then go out. Once the Confi g LED goes out the Remote Transceiver
TX LED should light. If there are BeltStati ons communicati ng to the BaseStati on through the Remote Transceiver the RX LED
should light as well.
When connecti ng any shared BaseStati ons to any wired intercom system,
only channels connected to the wired system can be shared. A BeltStati on
CALL signal is sent only when the Talk butt on is enabled.
To manually re-initi alize the Transceiver, power OFF the BaseStati on for at least
15 seconds and power the BaseStati on back ON, with the Transceiver connected.
