BeltStati on Overview

1- Volume- CH A and CH B

In Operati onal Mode, turning the Volume control adjusts the volume of

the audio. Volume indicators appear on the display during adjustment

and are expressed in Decibels (dB).

The Volume control has an opti on to be set to “Volume Press” where it

requires a “press and turn” to adjust the volume level. The “Volume Press”

opti on can be adjusted under the “Set Controls” secti on of the BeltStati on

menu.

Pressing the Volume control in “Dual-listen” mode does nothing. In

“Single-listen” mode, pressing “CH A” enables channel A, and pressing “CH

B” enables channel B . The Volume control has a channel “Delay Switch”

opti on which requires the knob to be pressed and held slightly longer in

order to switch from one channel to the other. This feature can be enabled

under the “Set Controls” secti on of the BeltStati on menu.

In Menu Mode, turning either Volume control allows the user to scroll the

opti ons of the current menu screen. Pressing the Volume control selects

the opti on.

2- Stage Butt on

The Stage Announce (STAGE) butt on re-routes the microphone signal of the BeltStati on from the selected intercom channel

to the BaseStati on rear panel Stage Announce (SA) output connector. If desired, when this butt on is pressed, a momentary

relay contact closure is made at the Relay connector.

See the secti on on GPO Relays.

Pressing the Stage Announce butt on automati cally enables the microphone, regardless of Talk Butt on status. The Stage

butt on setti ngs may be adjusted at the Stage Announce menu screen under the “Set Controls” secti on of the BeltStati on

menu.

3- MENU Butt on

Pressing MENU while the BeltStati on is in Operati onal mode will select Menu Mode, and the Main Menu screen will be

displayed. Once in Menu Mode, pressing MENU again will act as an escape key and will back out of the current menu screen

moving the user up one level. Pressing the MENU butt on while at the Main Menu screen will exit Menu Mode and return

to Operati onal mode. The menu can be locked via a “Menu Lock” feature per BeltStati on.

4- ENTER Butt on

The ENTER butt on operates diff erently depending on the mode of the BeltStati on. In Menu Mode, pressing the ENTER

butt on selects the current menu opti on and is the same as pressing a Volume control. A menu item is not selected unti l the

ENTER butt on (or Volume control) is pressed.

The ENTER butt on can also acti vate Wireless ISO (wireless talk around), providing wireless communicati on isolated from

any connected wired intercom system.

The ENTER butt on is also one of the butt ons that can be assigned to acti vate a Relay in the BaseStati on. It is possible to

acti vate the Relay whenever the Wireless ISO feature is used.

5- LCD

While in Operati onal Mode, the LCD displays the status of the BeltStati on including the name of the currently communicati ng

BaseStati on, RF strength, batt ery level, and other data. The LCD backlight and contrast can be adjusted from the LCD

Adjustments menu screen under the LCD/LED secti on of the BeltStati on menu.
