6- Local Area Network (LAN) RJ-45 Connector
The Local Area Network (LAN) RJ-45 Connector is used to connect the Tempest BaseStati on to a user supplied PC running
Tempest Desktop Confi gurati on (T-Desk) soft ware. The user can then monitor and/or adjust BaseStati on and BeltStati on
setti ngs via the PC interface. This connecti on can be made directly or through a Local Area Network (LAN).

7- Relay Connector
The Relay Connector provides access to all of the relay closure contacts for the Tempest BaseStati on. There are six
relays including one common Stage Announce relay and fi ve individually assignable relays - one for each of the wireless
BeltStati ons. See the secti on on “GPO Relay Contacts.
8- Antenna Connector
The Antenna Connector is used to connect the antenna to the Tempest BaseStati on. The Antenna Connector is an RP-TNC
(Reverse Polarized-TNC) connector. Cables used to att ach to this Antenna Connector must be properly terminated with
mati ng RP-TNC connectors and the proper cable type.
9- Remote Transceiver RJ-45 Connector
The Tempest Remote Transceiver RJ-45 connector is used to connect the opti onal remote transceiver to the Tempest
BaseStati on. The remote transceiver can be located up to 1,500 feet from the BaseStati on.
