Remove Batt eries from BeltStati ons
Remove the batt ery cover from the back of the BeltStati on by pressing lightly on the thumb grooves and sliding
towards the bott om. Hold the BeltStati on in one hand with the batt ery compartment facing downward over the open
palm of your other hand. Firmly tap the BeltStati on against the palm of your open hand and the batt ery will fall into
your open hand. Follow the same procedure for AA batt eries.
Install the Rechargeable Batt ery
The gold batt ery contacts must mate with the contacts in the batt ery compartment. If the batt ery is not properly
seated, the cover will not close easily.
Charge the Batt ery
Connect the plug-in batt ery charger (included with BeltStati on) to a standard wall outlet and to the Mini-USB
connector on the BeltStati on. This connector is located under the rubberized access cover on the side of the
BeltStati on. The batt eries will charge from completely empty to a full charge in about 2¾ hours. The batt eries will not
overcharge. The BeltStati on remains functi onal during charging.
Install AA Alkaline Batt eries
Remove the batt ery cover on back of BeltStati on. Insert (3) AA alkaline batt eries according to the polarizati on shown
inside the batt ery compartment. Replace the batt ery cover. All batt eries install with the positi ve terminal toward the
side with Mini-USB charger connector.
Use the 5-Bay Batt ery Charger
Plug charger into local AC power source and place up to fi ve rechargeable, Lithium-Polymer batt eries into the
charger. Charging is complete when the indicator turns green. Re-charge ti me is 2½ hours and the charge provides
approximately nine hours of operati on
Navigate the BaseStati on Menu
Press MENU to open the Main Menu. MENU also functi ons as an Escape key. Turn the Volume control to scroll
through the menu. To select, press ENT or press the Volume control. The keys numbered 1 through 5 under the LCD
screen take you directly to the corresponding BeltStati on menu. If no entry is made within 3 minutes, the display will
automati cally return to the Operati on Screen.
Navigate the BeltStati on Menu
Press MENU to open the Main Menu. MENU also functi ons as an Escape key. Turn the Volume control to scroll
through the menu. To select, press ENT or press the Volume control. If no entry is made within a few seconds, the
display will automati cally return to the Operati on Screen.
