Example:
To disable link negotiation protocol on port 4, module 1:
P130-1# set port negotiation 1/4 disable
Link negotiation protocol disabled on port 1/4.
Set port enable Command
Use the
set port enable command to enable a port or a range of ports.
The syntax for this command is:
set port enable <mod_num/port_num>
Example:
To enable port 3:
P130-1# set port enable 1/3
Port 1/3 enabled.
Set port disable Command
Use the
set port disable command to disable a port or a range of ports.
Note:
If you have disabled a particular port but the link is still connected, the LED
for that port will remain ON.
The syntax for this command is:
set port disable
Example:
P130-1# set port disable 1/10
Port 1/10 disabled.
