The Accounts screen is used to change the passwords of the
public
and
admin
accounts,
to update the system clock time, and to enter controller license details.
Password Management
The admin account allows full access to the VNM 250 web GUI. The public account allows
read‑only access.
The
admin
and
public
user names cannot be modified.
By default the password for the admin account is
admin
. The password for the public
account is
public
.
The
admin
account password can only be modified when you are already logged in as
admin
. If you are logged in as
public
, the
admin
password modification fields are disabled.
To change the password, enter the
Current Password
, the
New Password
, repeat the new
password in the
Confirm box
then press
Update Passwords
.
NOTES:
•
The password should consist of letters, numbers and the underscore character.
Case is significant.
•
Some changes must be implemented by pressing the
update
button. Where
changes are pending both the changed item and the update button will be shown
in yellow.
