Chapter 8: Transport & Status Display
Current Chapter and Clip Name
The Current Chapter field indicates the name of the file that is currently in playback or cued for playback. This
entry will change as a result of the cue command.
Note: The term Chapter refers to a file in the Playlist. The meaning is analogous to the term used in reference to
DVDs. Here chapter refers to a section of the disc.
Transport/Output Controls
Play
Click this button to start the Clip or Playlist playing.
Cue
Click this button to load a clip from the Playlist (“rewind” a clip to the beginning) prior to
a restart.
Note: If the clip is the first file in a Playlist then a play command will cause the entire
playlist to run.
Pause
Click this button to pause the Clip playing.
Auto-repeat (Loop)
Click this button to toggle the auto-repeat mode on or off. When this option is selected, a
playing file or Playlist will restart from the beginning when it reaches the end.
Audio Output
Click this button to toggle the audio output on or off.
Video Output: Black
Click this button to mute (set to black) the video output.
Video Output
Click this button to activate the Video output, following either a video mute, or color bars
command.
Color Bars
Click this button to display color bars on the video outputs.
Fast Forward/Loop Slider
• Drag this Slider to Cue to any position in a clip. Click the Play button to play from the new position.
