10.3.1 I
NTRODUCTION
The Character Generator tool allows to place text anywhere on the video image
and to combine it with a graphics layer. The combination of text and graphics can
be saved as template which can then be re-used later. This tool is available from
the Text tab of CleanEdit.

The Text tab contains the following areas:
• the Character Generator area, made up of two sub-tabs:
o
the Page List tab
o
the Text Properties tab
• a player window, with audio meters, showing the integrated text and graphics
• the graphical timeline.
