The XT Clips tab lists the virtual clips created by EVS servers, that is to say:

Clips transferred to the Xedio system via XFile using the XNet SDTI network or
the Gigabit connection, or via XTAccess.

Clips included into a project and accessed from an XT or XS server via
XTGateway, using the Gigabit Ethernet connection.

Thumbnails of the IN and OUT points of the clips can be displayed in the XT Clips
tab.

Audio Composition

The clips listed in the XT Clips tab may contain up to 16 audio mono channels.
The 16 audio channels can only be split as follows:

up to 8 stereo pairs

up to 5 stereo pairs and one 5.1 group

up to 2 stereo pairs and two 5.1 groups.

You can enable the 5.1 mode via Software Parameters Profiles in Xedio Manager.

The Media Manager tab lists the media available in Xedio CleanEdit. This can be:

video, stills (full frame or with a key layer) and audio files imported via the

Xedio Importer or the Media Importer tab from an external storage system. The
metadata related to the file is added at the time of import or recording. For
more information, refer to the Media Importer user manual.

media files imported via the Xedio Importer or the Media Importer tab from a

Sony XDCAM or XDCAM EX or Panasonic P2 cameras.

clips referenced in the Xedio database and physically stored an XT or XS

server on the network.

clips transferred from XFile, XStream, XTAccess or IPD Gateway

media files ingested from the Xedio encoders using the Xedio Ingest Organizer

media files imported automatically via the Xedio AutoFile Importer.
