The components of a menu include:
•
Title — The title describes the information contained within the menu, or
the tasks you can accomplish using it. In this book, titles are shown with
the first letter of each word capitalized, followed by the word
menu
, such
as the
Configuration Management menu
.
•
Scroll Indicator — The scroll bar indicates whether there is additional text
to be displayed. The
indicates there is more information to view below
what is presently shown. The
indicates there is more information to
view above what is currently displayed. Not every menu has a scroll
indicator.
Selecting a Menu Item
To select a menu item, highlight it using one of the following methods and
then press Enter:
•
Use the cursor movement keys to move the highlight bar:

Press
to move the highlight bar down.

Press
to move the highlight bar up.
Menus have a “rollover” feature. When the cursor reaches the last item
of the menu, press
to return to the first menu item. If the cursor is
highlighting the first menu item, press
to move to the last menu
item.
