Database Access ID Table Window
The Database Access ID Table window displays currently recognized
database IDs. Use the Database Access ID Table window to perform the
following tasks:
•
Add a local or remote database access ID
•
Remove a local or remote database access ID

Field Descriptions for the Database Access ID Table Window
Field Name
Description
Database Access ID
List of database access IDs, each representing an established
ORACLE database connection to the system. See
IDs on page 231
for more information.
Remote Machine
1
Remote machine name.
DB SID
1
Database instance, ORACLE_SID or database name (dbname) on
ORACLE systems. There could be multiple instances on a remote
machine.
1 If these fields are blank, the connection is to a local ORACLE database. If these fields are populated,
the connection is to an ORACLE database on the system or to an ORACLE database on the machine
specified in the
Remote Machine
field.
