(3) Description of the Edit Modes
(a) Change mode
In this mode, a selected net can be changed. When the change mode is selected, change
is possible for one selected net. If the change is selected while the net number “1” is
displayed on the screen (NET-NO: 1) as in Fig. 8.4, the screen displays only the ladder
of net number “1” as shown in Fig. 8.5. The shaded block in this screen indicated the edit
cursor (blinking). When the change mode screen is displayed first, the cursor appears at
the contact displayed in the upper left area and the mode indication changes to .

(b) Insert mode
In this mode, a new net is inserted preceding the selected net.When the insert mode is
selected, the edit screen is opened for insertion operation. Since a new net is inserted,
the opened screen does not show the ladder and the mode indication changes to .
