Section 3 — Configuration
Take Mode Selection
Select the Take Mode line and touch then the Modify button to toggle
between the two modes of operation:
• Single Level : Only one level of the virtual matrix will be switched
• All Level Take : All levels of the virtual matrix will be switched
Note The behavior of this option depends on the configuration of the Encore
system.
Take
Take is direct, immediate switching from one Source to another, occur-
ring during the vertical interval for clean transition. The control opera-
tion which switches a Source or Sources to a Destination.
Levels
Levels are used during source configuration to setup up different signal
formats, such as SD video, analog video, analog audio, digital audio,
time code, and data. Levels are linked to logical matrices. Up to 32
levels are available within the Encore system. These levels are global
across all areas.
Kayak Router Configuration Menu
The Install - Router - Router Outputs menu is used for destination
assignment. On the Kayak there are up to 15 External AUX Buses which
can be assigned (connected) to the router outputs (destinations). Once
an External AUX Bus is connected to an router output, sources can be
controlled (switched) by the Kayak switcher.
