Use this page to update the LD2100’s firmware, to upload maps, and to backup the LD2100’s
configuration file. Refer to Appendix A, “Update Firmware” on page 87 for complete
firmware update instructions.

The Product Registration link routes users to the product registration form at rletech.com.
Complete this form to receive product and firmware updates and support.
Option Description
Exit to Bootloader Access the bootloader.
Download
Configuration File
(.cfg)
Save a copy of the LD5200’s configuration file to a local computer.
Always save a copy of the .cfg file before you update the firmware on
the LD5200.
Upload and Manage Image Files
Two map images can be uploaded to the LD2100. Each file must be less than 1MB, and 4000
x 4000 pixels, max.
Delete Image 1
Button
Click this button to delete the image loaded into the LD2100 as User
Image #1.
Delete Image 2
Button
Click this button to delete the image loaded into the LD2100 as User
Image #2.
Upload a New Image Two images can be uploaded to the LD2100. Use the numerical drop
down to designate whether you’re uploading the image as image 1 or
image 2. Click the Choose File button to navigate to a file on your
computer that you’d like to upload. Click the Upload button to
execute the upload.
