3.3.12 EIA-485 Port/Modbus/N2
Note If you want to configure the LD2100 as a Modbus Master, follow the instructions in
If the LD2100 will communicate via the EIA-485 port, configure the necessary options here.
The screens for Modbus-Slave, Bacnet-MS/TP Slave, Modbus-Master, and N2 are the same.
The LCD-240 screen has a few additional options. To access the screen for your application,
select you choice (Modbus-Slave, Bacnet-MS/TP Slave, Modbus-Master, LCD-240, or N2)
from the drop down menu and click the Submit Changes button. The appropriate options for
your selection will display. Fill in the blanks and click the Submit Changes button again to
save your changes.

Option
Description
Modbus/TCP/UDP
Slave Unit Identifier
This designator is used for Modbus RTU over an Ethernet
connection.
Set the slave unit identifier, 1-254. 0 = disabled.
EIA-485 Port
Function
Select the function of the EIA-485 port: Modbus-Slave, Bacnet/MS-
TP Slave, Modbus-Master, LCD-240, or N2.
Click the Submit Changes button to enact the change and display
the options available for that particular port function.
Default: Modbus-Slave
EIA-485 Baud Rate
Selectable: 9600, 19200, 38400, or 57600
EIA-485 Parity
Select None, Even, or Odd
EIA-485 Slave
Address
Set the slave address, 1-254. 0 = disabled
