Inserting a zipper
To insert a zipper we reconnnnend the use of a zipper foot
(marked with letter E) to allow an even sewing.
PREPARATION
Pattern: Straight stitch
Needle position: Center
Stitch length: 2-5
Foot: Zipper foot(E)
WHEN THE ZIPPER TEETH ARE TO THE LEFT
OF THE NEEDLE:
•
Slidethe adjusting block across to the right (/7/L/strat/on
1).
•
Snap-on the foot to the leftsideofthe pin.
WHEN THE ZIPPER TEETH ARE TO THE
RIGHT OF THE NEEDLE:
•
Slidethe adjusting blockacrosstothe left(/7/ustrot/on 2).
•
Snap-onthefoottotherightsideofthepin.
