Changing a snap-on
presser foot
TURN OFF THE MACHINE BEFORE CHANGING A
PRESSER FOOT.
Your
machine
is
assembled
with
a
general
purpose
presser
foot
(marked
with
the
letter
B).
You
may
easily
replace
it
by
any
other
presser
feet,
which
are
inserted
in
the
same
shank
by
following
the instructions:
1. Turn hand wheel toward your direction until the needle is in
its highest position.
2.
Lift presserfoot(illustration 1).
3.
Push the top ofthe presserfoot up until it snaps offthe shank
(illustration!).
4.
Place new presserfoot underthe center ofthe shank.
5.
Lower presserfoot lifter, fitting shank over presserfoot pin
(illustrations).
6.
Push presse r foot, and screw down fi rm ly u nti I foot snaps i nto
place (illustration 4).
