Attatching a
button
Buttons
are
easily
and
quickly
attached,
with
straight
stitching
and simple zigzag stitching.
PREPARATION
Pattern: Straight stitch
Needle position: Left
Stitch width: Straight stitch
Foot: Button sewing presserfoot (H)
1. Insertfeed cover (Page 26) and button sewing presserfoot.
2.
The
bobbin
thread
must
be
brought
up
through
the
hole
in
the
feed
cover
just
as
when
passing
the
thread
or
changing
the bobbin (illustration 1).
3.
Place
the
fabric
and
button
underthe
presserfoot.
Turn
hand
wheel
toward
your
direction
observing
if
needle
enters
the
centerofthe left hole ofthe button (illustration 2).
4.
Lowerthe presserfoot and take a couple of stitches.
