TP {Traffic Programl serch :
Automatically tunes to a station broadcasting traffic information.
Preparation
Perform steps 0 to S of “Storing RDS stations automatically in
the preset memory (Auto Memory)
This step can be omitted if you have already executed
the Auto Memory procedure.
I The TP Search funclioo cannot be used if ali of the 40 preset stations
have been stored usirrg the procedure in "Storing radio stations
manually in preset memory". Be sure to use the Auto Memory
function.
TP Search
Select the "Tuner ” icon from the fixed segments.
Perform operation in the "Tuner" menu screen.
O Set the receiving band to "FM".
The band is alternated every time "Band" is selected.

© Select the "RDS" icon to open the "RDS" menu screen.
Perform operation in the “RDS" menu screen.
O Select the "TP Search" icon .
• During TP search, the corresponding indicator on the main unit
blinks
• If TP Search is not required, perform the Auto Memory operation
again.
TP (Traffic Program) Indication
When the "TP" indication is lit, this indicates that this station or
a station in the same network is transmitting traffic information.
When"TP" is displayed for the station presently being received,
the traffic information of this station can be heard .
To cancel TP Search
Select the "TP Search" icon during TP search.
