Install the snap ring on the input shaft.
See Figure 6.65.

Install the return to neutral bracket.

If the screw and spacer was removed from the
speed cam assembly, re-install it.
27.
Center the rack and thread a 1/4”-20x2” bolt into the
hole in the gear box to lock the gear box in neutral.
28.
Install the steering gear box in the mower by follow-
ing the procedures described in the steering gear-
box installation section of this chapter.
29.
Test drive the riding mower in a safe area before
returning to service.
