10.
Adjust the tie rods until the ends line up with their
mounting point. See Figure 6.8.
11.
Re-attach the tie rod(s).
12.
Tighten the jam nuts.
13.
Adjust the drive control rods so they slide freely into
the hole in the selector plate. Install the hairpin clips.
14.
Remove the 1/4”-20x2” screw from the steering
gear box.
15.
Reinstall the original plug screw in the steering gear
box.
16.
Install the steering column cover.
17.
Remove the 5/16” pins.
18.
Test drive the riding mower in a safe area before
returning it to service.
