2.13.7 Automatic Disconnection by the Wash Select II
The Wash Select II will automatically hang up from the call under the following conditions:
48. Five minutes of inactivity from the main menu
49. Six failed password entry attempts. A failed password entry attempt will be
declared if you do not enter a password within 15 seconds of being prompted to
enter your password
50. If the Wash Select II has a customer that is using their credit card, the Wash
Select II will display “SYSTEM NEEDS MODEM, GOODBYE!” before hanging up
on you.
2.13.8 Saving a Report to a File
After connecting to the Wash Select II and entering the main menu do the following:

Select “Transfer” from the menu bar

Select “Capture Text” from the Transfer menu
53. Enter the file name that you want to save the report to. The default folder and file
name will be
54. C:\Program Files\Accessories\HyperTerminal\CAPTURE.TXT
55. Enter a new file name if you wish. We recommend that you number your files for
future reference. You may number them sequentially or by making the date part
of the file name (/ or \ are not valid as part of a file name).

You may also click the “Browse” button to name another file or navigate to
another folder. In the window that is presented you may even add another folder
into which to place the files. HyperTerminal will remember this location the next
time you want to capture data.

Click the Start button in the “Capture Text” Window
58. Open the reports that you wish to save.
59. Under the Transfer menu select Capture Text->Stop to stop saving the report.
You may also pause the saving of the report by selecting Transfer->Capture Text-
>Pause.
60. To recall the file for printing or viewing you may use your favorite document editor
such as Word, Word perfect, WordPad or Notepad to view and print the file.
Remember where you have saved the file.
61. HyperTerminal will remember where you saved the last file and prompt you with
that same file name the next time. If you wish to keep each new report and save
the old one, do not forget to change the file names!
2.13.9 Multiple Units at Same Site
If you have more than one Wash Select II at the same site that share the same phone line,
you will have to configure the Rings and Deaf time settings in the Remote Reporting menu of
the Wash Select II.
