The voice type pager is useful if you do not have a pager but want the Wash Select II to call
your cell phone, home, or answering machine.

When using the “Voice/Tone” Paging option, the Wash Select II will automatically dial the pre-
programmed phone number, and then send a series of tones to describe the site number and
severity of the problem. After the programmed pause time, the Wash Select II will send a
series of tones indicating the site ID (1-10 beeps). After a two second pause, the Wash
Select II will send a second series of tones indicating the severity of the error. This will repeat
three times, and then the Wash Select II will hang up.

Setting

Description

Phone #

(up to 16 digits)

This is the phone number that is dialed to call the phone or
answering machine that you want to leave the tone message

Pause After Dial

0 to 120 seconds

This is the delay in seconds after the phone number is dialed
before proceeding. This compensates for the time it takes for the
phone to answer and possibly play a greeting or instructional
message. Remember that the # of rings before the system will
answer can vary from time to time.

Pin #

(up to 16 digits)

Optional. Set to 0 if not needed.

This is useful if your system has a voice prompt and requires you to
enter several selections to send a message. You may insert 2-
second pauses in the PIN number using one of the wash buttons.
You may also add * or # keys.

Note that many voice mail systems that require you to enter tones
to leave a message will reject the tone messages sent by the Wash
Select II. This feature was primarily intended for cell phones and
answering machines.
