Appendix G. Installing HyperTerminal
1. This process assumes you already have an installed modem. If your modem is
not installed then follow the installation procedure provided with your modem.
2. You may need your Windows 95/98 CD during this installation.
3. Click Start->Settings->Control Panel
4. Then Click Add Remove Programs Icon
5. Click the Windows Setup Tab and you will see the following

Double Click the WORD “Communications” NOT the check box. This will reveal
the installed communications programs.
7. If you already have HyperTerminal installed then the box besides HyperTerminal
will be checked. If not then check it now
