Paper Jam
If a paper is jammed during printing, a message of “Remove the paper” is shown in the screen:
Caution
- Fusing Unit in and around the Machine is very hot under actions. Avoid being touched on
and around the Fusing Unit, when removing the jammed paper or trying to find it in the
Machine. The touch may cause a burn. Avoid toner being entered your eyes or mouth, when
removing the jammed paper.
- If toner entered your eyes or mouth, wash that toner off with clean water and then see a
doctor.
Important
- If paper is jammed during printing, toner may not be fused onto the paper. In that case,
avoid the toner not being stuck to your hands or clothes. If toner stuck to your hands or
clothes, wash it off with cold water immediately. Washing it off with warm water may leave
the toner spot permanently.
- Remove the jammed paper carefully so that a piece of the paper cannot be left in the
Machine.
- Do not touch the Machine inside and the terminals of the Original Feed Roller. The touch
may give bad impact on the print quality.
- Avoid the PCU not being exposed to the sunlight more than 5 minutes.
- Do not touch the surface of the PCU drum. The touch may cause a print error.
Note
- Open the cover specified on the LCD and then close it. Doing this can make the message
disappeared.
