On-hook (manual transmission)

Pressing [ON] button in On Hook allows On-hook status.
The status can be checked by toot sound blown through the speaker.

Set the original on the Flatbed or the ARDF.
When transmitting the original on the Flatbed, check that no original shall be set
on the ARDF.

Enter the other party’s Fax No, with the number key.

Wait for the reply from the other party’s Fax machine. If the number was wrongly
entered or there is no response from the other party, pressing [OFF] in [On-Hook] return to
Standby Mode. When beep sounds, meaning the other party’s receiving a call, press 【 】 Key
and send the original.

When transmitting has been completed, the Machine becomes automatically off-hook and
retuns to Standby Mode. Broadcast cannot be made using On-Hook.
Note
- When sending original in On-hook mode using the Flatbed, the next original
can be scanned and transmitted within 10-second original waiting time.
