Quality Tab
There are “Resolution of print job”, “Print Text Black”, “Halftoning”, “Gray Correction”, and “Toner
Save”.
To change the following Print Settings, open Printing Preferences screen, click Advanced Tab and
click the button:

1. [Resolution]
You can select different resolution for print job. This setting allows selecting the print
resolution by Dot per inch (DPI or dpi).
High resolution can provide superior print quality but it takes long time to send the job from
the printer and to print the job.
The higher resolution requires the more memory. If “out of memory” error occurred, pick up
low resolution.
The resolution feature is 600 dpi and 1200 dpi.
2. [Print Text Black]
Every text can be printed in black, regardless of the colors selected from the application.
