consistent response, without removing the barrels.
Because the spectroscopic response of various fibers is dependent upon length and other factors,
screens will not be shown. Instead, the message boxes are given, in the order in which they appear.
Be sure the fiber probe ends are securely installed into the barrels (outer probe part) and proceed
using this set of instructions.
From the Diagnostics menu, select Create Window
Correction.
NOTE: Window Correction must be enabled under
Configure, Options. When enabled, a new DCM
Vision requests a standard file. Select the file
“TSSZERO.da” as shown, from the C:\Vision
directory.
This file corrects the fiber optic path for the effects
of the barrels (windows) being installed.
The TSSZERO file is shown as
a spectral plot. The spectrum
is a flat line at 0 AU.
