1.4 XDS Process Options
A Fiber Optic Communication Modem is included with all Purged Systems. This permits
communication by fiber optic communication pair, for safe operation in classified environments.
Communication cable must be specified, of a length long enough for all runs, plus additional length
for service loops.
Communication cable should be handled carefully to
avoid breakage. Avoid sharp bends, chafing, or other
damage.
