This adjustment is performed using the
Interactance Reflectance probe barrel supplied,
and applies to both Interactance Reflectance and
Interactance Immersion. (The DCM for
Interactance Immersion may be used for this
operation.)
Vision takes an instrument reference, using the
internal reference fiber. This takes about 60
seconds.
This photo shows the internal reference fiber,
looping gently from the lamp box to the entrance
slit of the monochromator. (Sample fibers are
omitted for clarity.)
This dialog box is displayed.
Next a scan is taken (on the reference) and this
box is displayed. This takes about 20-30 seconds.
Wavelength Linearization is performed in two
sections, each of which takes about 15 seconds.
