Configuration File

The read/writable configuration data file allows the setup of the digital filter
settings for each of the two input groups. Group 0 is inputs 0…7 and Group 1 is
inputs 8…15.

The manipulation of the bits from this file is normally done with programming
software, such as RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, or RSNetWorx for DeviceNet
software, during initial configuration of the system. In that case, graphical screens
are provided via the programmer to simplify configuration. However, some
systems, like the1769-ADN DeviceNet adapter, also allow the bits to be altered as
part of the control program using communication rungs. In that case, it is
necessary to understand the bit arrangement.
