• In an emergency or if the coverslipping operation is to be canceled
quickly, press the STOP button.
Then, the coverslipping operation is interrupted immediately.
• The message "STOPPED" is displayed accompanied by a signal tone.
• Confirm the signal tone with RESPOND.
Emergency stop using STOP.
5. Operation
• Using the RELEASE COVER SLIP and RELEASE SLIDE buttons, you can
release any cover slip that has been picked up or specimen slide that
has been gripped.
• Only press the START button to continue working after doing so. The
instrument then initializes.
• Continue as outlined in
Chapter 5.3
.

Remove all glass parts or other objects away from the CV5030
working area after pressing STOP. Only then may START be
actuated.
Proceed carefully when removing a specimen slide that has been
gripped. Do not manually open the grippers under any circum-
stances.
Immediately remove all glass parts, broken glass (e.g. cover slips)
or other objects from the instrument's working area.
The output magazines are moved to the output position automati-
cally after pressing START. All remaining specimen slides in the
output magazines absolutely must be removed.
