5.1 Control panel functions
The control panel field consists of a membrane keyboard with ten pushbuttons, four LED indica-
tors and a two-line LCD display.
• It is used to control the functions of the instrument and to display the software status.
• The control panel field indicates the current status of the robotic coverslipper and operations
in progress.
• Different parameters (settings) can be programmed for the coverslipping operation using
the pushbuttons.
• The display shows informational and error messages.
• A pushbutton can fulfill different functions. The differences are listed in
Chapter 5.2 and
Chapter 5.8 .
The control panel
The functions, indicators, settings, etc. outlined in this chapter apply to firmware version
3.01.04 or later.
