Cause
Remedy
EAXXXX
ImageReceiver was not start-
ed.
Start ImageReceiver.
The IP address of the recipient
is not specified correctly in the
dialog box that appears after
clicking “Receive Settings”,
then “Connection Filter”.
Click “Receive Settings”, then “Con-
nection Filter”, specify the correct IP
address, and then restart ImageRe-
ceiver.
ImageReceiver is not operat-
ing correctly.
Restart the computer.
Re-install IP Scanner.
Check the TCP/IP settings on the com-
puter.
The LAN cable is not connect-
ed.
Check that the LAN cable is correctly
connected.
The network settings on the
computer are not specified
correctly.
Check the TCP/IP settings on the com-
puter.
The network load on the re-
cipient’s computer is too high.
Check that large e-mail messages are
not being received at the recipient’s
computer and that large files are not
being downloaded from the Web.
Too much data is being sent.
If a high scanning resolution has been
specified, reduce the resolution or de-
crease the number of pages scanned
at one time, and then scan the docu-
ment again.
Access is blocked by the set-
ting specified for the compu-
ter’s firewall (Windows
firewall) for the Internet con-
nection.
Change the setting specified for the
computer’s firewall (Windows firewall)
for the Internet connection according
to the instructions from your network
administrator.
