Logging In

The FORMULA 8200 switch ships from the factory with pre-installed
software. Once the hardware has been installed, the switch displays
the login prompt.

To begin using the CLI:

1. Log in by entering

admin

in lowercase letters, as follows:

The FORMULA 8200 displays the password prompt.

2. Enter

switch

, all in lowercase, as follows:

Note

When you type your password, the text does not appear on the
screen.

After you have entered the password, the FORMULA 8200 command
line interface (CLI) prompt is displayed

For security reasons, change the admin password as soon as
possible. To do so, use the

SYSTEM/CONFIG/ADMINPW

command

(explained in detail in Chapter 5).

Use the

EXIT

command to log out from the CLI session.
