Configuring for
the TFTP
Download
Process
The following steps provide the FORMULA 8200 with the IP address
of your TFTP server:
1. Log in to the switch and enter:
/TFTP/SERVER
2. Enter the IP address of your TFTP server.
Enter
Y
in the
Save the configuration to flash?
(y/n)
prompt to save the TFTP server configuration for later
use.
3. Verify that you can
PING
the TFTP server from the
FORMULA 8200.
You are now ready to download software to your
FORMULA 8200 switch.
Caution
There is only enough space on the switch to store one version of
software. Do not attempt to download multiple versions on the
switch.
