Upgrading Your Model
You can upgrade an appliance model in the Model Upgrade page.
Only certain models can be upgraded. For detailed information about upgrading your
appliance model, contact a technical support representative at http://www.hp.com.
The Upgrade Model page appears only after you have entered a valid license key. For
information about licenses, see
“Updating Your Licenses” on page 112 .
To upgrade your
model 1. Click the Setup tab to display the Setup menu.
2. Click Upgrade Hardware to display the Model Upgrade page.

3. Click Transform to New Model to upgrade your HP EFS WAN Accelerator
hardware.
Starting and Stopping Services
You can start, stop, and restart the HP EFS WAN Accelerator service and the PFS
service in the Start/Stop Services page.
The HP EFS WAN Accelerator service and PFS are daemons that execute in the
background, performing operations when required.
Many of the HP EFS WAN Accelerator service commands are initiated at startup. It is
important to restart the HP EFS WAN Accelerator service when you have made
changes to your configuration.
