Adding pair management servers to a site
You can add pair management servers to existing sites. After pair management servers have been
added, the copy pair configuration definitions managed by the servers can be accessed from the
nodes under the site.
For open systems, if you need to use a pre-existing host as a pair management server (that is, you
already added the host to the site), you must add the host to the site again as a pair management
server. For mainframe systems, adding a pre-existing a host as a pair management server allows the
copy group definition file (prefix) managed by that host to be accessed from the nodes under the site.
TIP:
You cannot specify the same pair management server (host) for more than one site.
