Keyboard Mapping
If you are using a terminal emulator other than Terminal Plus, or using a direct
connection to a terminal, you need to emulate the functions of special server keyboard
keys (for example, ESC, Home, and so on) via the terminal emulator. This emulation
can be accomplished by the mapping of ANSI escape sequences to the special keys.
Most terminal emulators permit the remapping of special keys to character strings; if
this is not possible on your terminal you will need to send strings manually. See
Appendix D for a list of character strings you can use to emulate special keys on the
server keyboard.
