Disables the battery.

Halts the processor on this PMF2 CRU.

Replace

Launches the Replace PMF guided procedure, which provides step-by-step instructions for replacing
the PMF CRU.

Storage ASIC Initialization Test

Prompts the storage subsystem manager process ($ZZSTO) to initialize the storage ASIC in the
CRU. If initialization fails, an alarm is generated.

This action is triggered automatically when a new CRU is inserted while OSM is running or when an
(SCF) STATUS ADAPTER command is issued. If a CRU is inserted while OSM is not running,
perform this action after logging on to the OSM Service Connection.

Test Verify

Performs basic tests on the CRU. You can perform this action when the CRU is online.

PMF2 (Processor Multifunction 2) CRU

Each processor multifunction 2 (PMF2) CRU in a NonStop server contains these components:

A processor and memory board (PMB), which contains a

processor

A

service processor (SP)

Two internal

SCSI controllers

One external

SSAC

And for PMF2s in Group 1 only, an

MIOE

(Ethernet controller) to provide connectivity

between the service processor and the dedicated service LAN (for OSM).

Slot Location: PMF2 CRUs are located in slots 50 and 55 of a processor enclosure (service side).
