shortrange Subcommand
Syntax
shortrangeU[[yyyyMMddhhmm][{+|-}hhmm]:[yyyyMMddhhmm][{+|-}hhmm]]
Description
The shortrange subcommand enables you to specify a term of monitoring data to be exported into files.
Use this subcommand when you want to narrow the export-target term within the stored data.
The shortrange subcommand is valid for monitoring data in short range. The monitoring data in short
range is the contents displayed in the following windows:
•
The Auto LUN window with selecting shortrange as the storing period
•
The Continuous Access Monitor and TrueCopy for Mainframe Monitor windows
•
The Continuous Access Journal Monitor and Universal Replicator for Mainframe Monitor windows
All the monitoring items are stored in short range. Therefore, you can use the shortrange subcommand
whichever operand you specify to the group subcommand. If you run the Export Tool without specifying
the shortrange subcommand, the data stored in the whole monitoring term will be exported.
The login subcommand must execute before the shortrange subcommand executes.
Operands
The value on the left of the colon (:) specifies the starting time of the period. The value on the right of the
colon specifies the ending time of the period. Specify the term within Short Range From XXX To
XXX which is output by the show subcommand.
If no value is specified on the left of the colon, the starting time for collecting monitoring data is assumed.
If no value is specified on the right of the colon, the ending time for collecting monitoring data is
assumed. The starting and ending times for collecting monitoring data are displayed in the Monitoring
Term area in the Auto LUN window (see
