Syntax
loginUuseridUpassword
Description
The login subcommand uses a user ID and a password to log the specified user in the SVP.
The svpip subcommand must execute before the login subcommand executes.
The login subcommand fails if monitoring data does not exist in the SVP.
Operands
userid
Specifies the user ID for the SVP.
If the user ID includes any non-alphanumeric character, the user ID must be enclosed by double
quotation marks (").
Note:
Be sure to specify a user ID that should be used exclusively with the Export Tool. For detailed
information, see “

password
Specifies the password of the user.
If the password includes any non-alphanumeric character, the password ID must be enclosed by
double quotation marks (").
Example
This example logs the user expusr into the SVP whose IP address is 158.214.127.170. The password is
pswd.

Description
The show subcommand outputs the following information to the standard output (for example, to the
command prompt):
•
the period during which monitoring data was collected onto the SVP (storing period)
•
the interval at which the monitoring data was collected (gathering interval).
