multi-peri-port
Changes both ends of a trunked link between a backbone device and a peripheral device to links
between untrunked ports.
Syntax
multi-peri-port stack-unit/slotnum/portnum and stack-unit/slotnum/portnum
no multi-peri-port stack-unit/slotnum/portnum and stack-unit/slotnum/portnum
Parameters
stack-unit
Specifies the stack unit ID.
slotnum
Specifies the slot number.
portnum
Specifies the port number in the slot.
Modes
Stack unit configuration mode
Usage Guidelines
Use this command only when the trunked link is live. The no form of this command removes the port
configuration.
Examples
The following example changes the trunked link between stack unit 1 (a backbone device) and stack
unit 3 (a peripheral device) to a link between untrunked ports.
Brocade(config-unit-1)# multi-peri-port 1/3/3 and 3/2/1
