The following example shows the configuration of a mixed stack using the
automatic configuration method in which all stack members are configured from
the active controller. The mixed stack contains two ICX 6610 devices in the
backbone and two substacks of three ICX 6450 peripheral devices each.

If there are two backbone devices, perform the following steps to configure the standby controller in a
mixed stack using the automatic configuration method:

1.

From the ICX 6610 device that you want to be the active controller, configure the stack unit ID.

Specify a port module.
