Customizing the Main View in the Phone
application
Phone Display Options let you customize
the appearance and entry mode of the
Main View in the Phone application.
1 Press Phone .
2 Press Menu .
3 Select Options, and then select Phone
Display Options.
4 Set any of the following options:
Show… : Sets whether the Dial Pad or
wallpaper appears in the Main View of
the Phone application. If you select
Show Wallpaper, select the thumbnail
image and then select an image to use
as wallpaper.
TIP You can assign a ringtone to an entire
category of contacts. For example, use a
special ringtone for categories such as Family,
Work, or Golf Buddies. Select the category
pick list in the upper-right corner and select
Edit Categories. Select the category, and
then select the ringtone on the Edit Category
screen.
TIP If you select the Show Wallpaper option,
you can still access the Dial Pad. From the
Phone application’s Main View, press Send to
open the Redial list, and then select Dial Pad.
