Location of the order number and product version
The order number and product version are printed on every module of the
SIMATIC S7-400. The firmware version is also printed on the CPUs. The following
figure shows their locations on a module.
For the product version, an X is entered instead of the valid number. The following
figure shows a module with Product Version 1.
